Ian Cahn-Fuller

Ian founded Saltoun with Andrew and has held numerous roles within the firm. He currently supports the firm’s ETA activities.  In 2023, Ian founded a new investment firm, Beartown Holdings, focused on the serial acquisition of small firms through buy-and-build strategies in niche b2b services (Andrew is a significant investor). Ian previously served as the CFO of a Saltoun platform company and has worked closely with management teams across our portfolio. Prior to Saltoun, Ian was an investor at CGC and Tengram Capital, investing in growth stage businesses in the consumer and agricultural space. He serves on several boards including Beartown Environmental Group, Beartown Restore Group, HigherMe, Carmine Partners, Knight Franchise Holdings, and others. Ian is a frequent guest speaker at HBS and Wharton on the topic of entrepreneurship and consolidations and leads the Saltoun ‘CEO-in-training’ program for aspiring entrepreneurs.
